CEASE Media Campaigns
Winter 2000/2001
CEASE ran the below ad over fall and winter of 2000/2001 to raise awareness about fur trim and fur farms. It appeared on Boston subways and in the Boston Globe, as well as in the Valley Advocate and VMag (a Western MA paper targeted toward students).

“The new trend in furs is to make them look fake. Too bad her suffering is so real.
Cramped cages, no escape, a lifetime of suffering...then a pitiless death. 90% of foxes on fur farms and countless rabbits, chinchillas and mink are killed JUST FOR FUR TRIM. Please don't buy fur coats OR fur trim.”
CEASE would like to thank photographer Frantz Dantzler, and the Humane Society of the United States, for graciously allowing us to use the photograph of the fox.
